Well not officially until the clocks change but everyone is going on about how the 1st March is spring bla bla bla. Since my last post I had a bad cold which turned into Bronchitis, I still have the delightfull cough. Have to be carefull as I have astma but I wasn't letting being ill get in the way of my routine - still up at 5:30am to see to the horses.
Went to a friend's hen weekend in Devon - it was at a Spa where you rent cottages on site. Just what I needed to rest and relax, however I did manage to go for a walk as whilst I like lounging about I still needed my outdoor fix. Left the ponies in the care of my sister, who due to have her baby the following Tuesday was under strict instructions not to give birth whilst I was away. My argument is that this weekend had been booked long before she got pregnant!
Sister is still pregnant. Deli is coming on well, the saddle I'm making do with until I can have Steph Bloom from AH Saddles out is rubbing him a little. Mainly because he's changing his coat, but also because its a tad too long for him. Steph is coming on the 30th March to fit him (and me) either a straight cut GP or working hunter saddle.
Last night it was a beautiful evening, so I managed to fit in a quick lunge in the school - Deli was on his toes all I had to do was hold the lunge line whilst he hooleyed around me.
