Friday I was so tired after my first week back at work I nearly chickend and asked my sister to put the ponies to bed for me. But at 7 months pregnant I dont really want to take the mick. So I did them. Oddly when I get home and sit on the sofa I perk up and ended up staying up a hour late.
Saturday we were planning on going to pick up the clipper blades and clipping the ponies. But with the high winds and showers we just went and collected the blades which were so conveniently near a McDonalds. So had breakfast. I thought I'd be good and have a breakfast wrap, but ordered a snack wrap by misstake which is even better as less calories! The ponies had a duvet day Saturday due to the weather. Also as the grass has less "goodness" in it they are coming in of a evening really hungry and being quite naughty to lead. So a day in stuffing themselves on hay would do them good. Lunchtime I groomed all the mud off their legs and left them in naked as it was quite mild.
Sunday we clipped, I got up early to take OH to the station so he could go visit some family. Deli was so greasy the clippers really struggled, gave up on two sets of blades and managed to finish the job with a third set. My sister's pony nearly got left unfinished as the clippers were struggling with her too. So it took longer than usual, and I was so cold and tired by the end of it. Ate a cerial bar and a packet of hoola hoops and went home to some propper lunch - two poatched eggs on toast. Back up the yard to put the ponies to bed and Sapphire was sooooooo naughty, running infront of me, trying to tank off. I had to let go and she shot off towards the yard :( She had some leading practice with the rope over her nose before going to bed. Get home and OH tells me he left his medication for his toothache with his family so I offer to drive him back there as he was just going to leave it (he needs to keep up the ABs) But he drove down in his work van anyway.
Today I weighed myself: 11st 4.75lbs
Ponies are having another duvet day due to severe weather warning
