Now peacock stirrups - the ones with the plastic band. I dont know why they annoy me but they just do - especially when I see adults riding with them. They have a weight limit of something like 7st. Now I'm not being mean or rude but most adults aren't 7st. I understand the need to stay safe - however its scary that some riders are unknowingly putting themselves at risk. Most riders I see at competitions should the responsibility lie with the event organiser to point this out to their entrants?
Friday was a no go really - didn't bother counting my weight watchers points. There was cake in the office. A Collegue was leaving for maternity leave so had brought in goodies and such. I couldn't help myself :(
Saturday I needed to go and get horse feed I really wanted to ride but it was cold and rainy so I wimped out. Just as I was driving to the feed shop I realised I hadn't called to reserve a bag of the balancer I feed (Spillers Lite) it's fantastic as it doesn't heat my two up but still gives them the vitamins and minerals they need. Also makes their hair grow link stink which is great for showing Deli :) They look fab on it. But as a stroke of luck they had a few bags in stock. I think it's important to feed them a natural diet possible. I used to feed simple systems however I'm not the most organised so need to feed something I can pop out last minute to pick up which was why I gave up on SS. So as a compromise the Spillers Lite has some "bad" stuff in it and the Dengie HiFi Mollasses Free does too but its the best of a bad choice!
Sunday still didn't ride and had a bacon bagette! lol
